Crowds and Barriers
A collaborative project of animated monotypes by UArts Associate Professor Patty Smithand Claire Fouquet (Cefu), a faculty member in the animation program at École Européenne Supérieure de L'image. Working together for the past three weeks in the Printmaking Edition studio, the two artists have produced over 25 monotypes that have been translated into a brief animation. It is the first stage of a larger project to be completed in the spring of 2013 in Angoulême and Paris, France. The prints and animation will be on view.
