Crowds and Barriers
A collaborative project of animated monotypes by UArts Associate Professor Patty Smithand Claire Fouquet (Cefu), a faculty member in the animation program at École Européenne Supérieure de L'image. Working together for the past three weeks in the Printmaking Edition studio, the two artists have produced over 25 monotypes that have been translated into a brief animation. It is the first stage of a larger project to be completed in the spring of 2013 in Angoulême and Paris, France. The prints and animation will be on view.

Constellation, l’exposition des auteurs en résidence, est à l’honneur de la seconde édition du Graphic Narrative Project organisé par L’Alliance Française d’Ahmedabad.

À cette occasion, quinze auteurs de bande dessinée et de cinéma d’animation en résidence à la maison des auteurs sont exposés du 5 au 12 octobre au National Institute of Design (NID) d’Ahmedabad : Mi-young Baek, Laure Clémansaud, Rachel Deville, Elric Dufau, Elena Forcato, Cédric Fortier, Claire Fouquet, Pascal Girard, Jean-Luc Gréco, Céline Guichard, Tigran Mangassarian, Julie Maroh, Camille Moulin-Dupré, Emre Orhun et Julien Zanesi.

Constellation, the exhibition of the authors in residency, is on display for the second Garphic Narrativ Project, run by the Ahmedabad's Alliance Française. On this occasion, fifteen authors from comics and animation films in residency at La Maison des Auteurs will exhibit their work at the NID (National Institute of Design) of Ahmedabad from the 5th to the 12th of october 2012.
