exposition Archipel

L'exposition des auteurs en résidence pendant le festival d'Angoulême sera reprise du 24 mai au 30 octobre 2011 à la Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l'Image, 121 rue de bordeaux, 16000 Angoulême.
Quelques images de cette exposition à La Maison des Auteurs du 27 au 30 janvier 2011 ci dessous.

The exhibition "Archipel" displaying the work of the authors in residency at La Maison des Auteurs will take place from the 24th May to the 30th October 2011. Below some photo of this exhibition held from the 27th of January to the 30th.

24h comics marathon !

24 pages à faire en 24h ! Enfin cette année la contrainte était un peu plus cool sur le nombre de pages mais plus dure sur le reste : Popeye !! Telle était la contrainte. J'ai fait fait binôme cette année avec le dessinateur Dan Berry ! 48 pages, soyons fous... la même histoire vue par olive (dessinée par moi même) et vue par popeye (dessiné par dan) Et on a réussis yeepeee!

Dan Berry, comics artist and myself have participated in the 24h comics marathon. We didn''t know yet how we'dcollaborate before the constraint was set, but for sure we sere determined to produce 48 pages (24 each) in 24 hours... well...And we DID ! We drew the same story from two point of view:  Olive's vision was my part and  Popeye's Dan's.

Some pictures from the 2011 team-working 24h comics marathon!
before the marathon (3pm 25th january 2011) : a clean studio-space, happy rested faces, a lot of food to survive !

During the marathon :

After the marathon : 11pm the next day (26th january 2011): exhausted but happy faces (we did it), a messy studio space and some bad habits ...comics driven...

and even some days afterwards some habits remained...
